Well I did say I was likely done with movies for the summer. I lied.
Fuck my curiosity.
I saw two movies. The first was the Clone Wars movie.
It Sucks. Hard.
*Spoilers Ahead*
The plot blows (Dooku and Jabba's brother conspire to put the Jedi onto the Hutt's shitlist? Seriously?), the animation looks like garbage, and that new Jedi padawan is so fucking annoying that I was praying that she'd bite the bullet in the movie.
Avoid at all costs.
Since I was so disgusted by Clone Wars, I hopped back on the line to check out Death Race. It's not saying much but Death Race looks Oscar-worth compared to Clone Wars. The action was balls to the wall and a lot of stuff blowing up. It was actually less gory that I'd expected. But still it's a fun ride for what it is. I especially liked how the Warden dies at the end.
